Best American restaurant in Chicago

This place is awesome for breakfast or brunch! Had the chicken and waffle!!! The fried chicken was juicy and crunchy and the waffle was hardy!! Got the bacon also! Thick cut and crispy but tender! If you’re doing Sunday funday it’s byob also and great for families and groups! The menu offers something for EVERYONE and all diets!

Stumbled upon this place with my partner and it was so good. For brunch, I got the Manila breakfast. The owners were extremely welcoming and hospitable, and introduced themselves personally. They let us know of a dinner they do once a month and we made reservations. The food was phenomenal and we definitely did not walk away hungry. The decor is warm and bright, and all wait staff were attentive. Definitely stop by!

This is a 10 star ⭐️ breakfast diner. A hidden gem that needs to be recognized. Walked in to a bright clean atmosphere. Ordered the two egg breakfast which was cooked perfectly on point. The bacon was thick cut and cooked crispy just like I asked. The service was probably one of the best I’ve ever experienced. Greeted promptly and with a smile. I was asked several times if there was anything else needed. A good ole neighbor restaurant. Cheers to the cook and staff. Excellent work!
